Sign-up, agent installation, reading the statistics and configuring the settings, in order.
01
Getting started
Put the agreement and consent in place, then register on the console.
Service flow
From contract to launch.
Step
What happens
1 Service agreement
Agree on scope and period.
2 Employee consent
Obtain consent from the members whose work will be recorded.
3 Sign up
Register on the console and confirm with the code sent by mail.
4 Company code
Check the company code issued after sign-up. The agent installer needs it.
5 Install the agent
Install the agent on each computer to be recorded.
6 Set up groups
Group members into teams or departments.
7 Exclusions and categories
Register programs and keywords to exclude from capture, and assign program categories.
Register on the console. Settings can be adjusted afterwards according to the member conditions.
1Enter an email address and password.
2A verification code is sent to that address.
The test verification code is 111111.
Once registered, sign in at the same address.
02
Installing the agent
Recording is handled by the agent installed on each computer.
Installation
Check the company code, download the installer and run it.
The email entered during installation must belong to the person using that computer, not to the account holder.
Using the agent
After installation a tray icon appears at the bottom right. Right-click it to open the menu.
My statistics shows only that computer. Setting the connection to offline defers data upload while tethering.
Agent footprint
CPU usage stays under 0.5%.
Memory use is around 50MB, with no effect even on demanding games.
It does not ask for the administrator rights that would let it alter critical parts of the computer.
Offline work is recorded and uploaded automatically once the connection returns.
03
Usage statistics
Usage of each installed computer, as statistics. A user sees their own statistics exactly as the administrator does.
Computer usage
Powered-on time and active time are shown separately, by day, week and month.
Depending on the administrator settings, a user can start and stop work manually.
Applications used
Which programs ran and for how long, summarised as usage by category.
Categories are assigned under Program categories in the settings.
File usage
File usage broken down by category.
Counts are based on how many times each file was used.
File list
The names of the files used are recorded and listed.
A user sees their own list exactly as the administrator does.
04
Work records
Activity and state during work hours.
Activity log
Work activity is logged automatically as a schedule.
Each task appears on the timeline with when it ran and for how long.
Network traffic
Traffic on the computer is recorded.
It can surface external attacks or internal data leakage.
Performance score
Performance is derived from work-related activity within work hours.
Three ratios are shown together: active time within work hours, work-related time within work hours, and work-related time within active time.
Screen capture
The state of the screen is captured at a set interval.
The interval and the selective capture rules come from the settings, and shots can be filtered to one program.
05
Settings
Groups, the agent, work hours, capture and program categories.
Groups
Users can be grouped into teams or departments.
Sharing a group link with its manager lets them read the statistics of the people in that group.
Agent settings
Agent settings can be applied to the installed computers at once.
Whether users may start and stop work themselves is decided here.
Work style
The baseline work hours.
These hours are the basis for the usage and performance calculations.
Capture settings
Whether capture runs, and whether users may delete captured shots.
With capture switched off, no screenshots accumulate.
Capture exclusions
Register the programs and keywords that would expose a user’s privacy, and those programs, along with any window whose title contains a listed keyword, are never captured.
Programs must be registered by executable name. A keyword blocks capture for any program whose title contains it.
Program categories
Assign a category to each program by purpose. Statistics follow those assignments.
The agent registers the user’s programs automatically. Assigning the category afterwards is the administrator’s job.
06
Computer management
Information on the installed computers and the list of users.
Users and computers
Both the computer information and the user list can be reviewed.
One user may own several computers, and the statistics combine them.
